HALEY JANE

Haley Borchers also known as Haley Jane is from Walnut Creek, California, and grew up in Sacramento, California. Haley was named after Haley's comet that appears in the sky every 75 years. Haley is a female painter, designer, muralist, and ceramic artist. Haley Jane’s passion for art became evident at an early age. Her parents say that is she didn’t have paper to draw on she would resort to drawing all over her arms and legs. Haley couldn’t deny that her talent of art was evident and started focusing on it even in high school. After years of high school art classes and experimentation with various mediums, she found herself drawn to painting and ceramics.  Her high school ceramics teacher entered two of her ceramics pieces in the California State Fair where she won Best of Show and a creativity award for both pieces, one for 18 and younger and one for adults.

Haley also had the opportunity to study abroad with Sierra College art program in 2005 in Paris, France. This is where Haley became inspired to create some of her newest designs for her art and clothing line. After further study at Sierra College, she began taking ceramics classes at Academy of Art University in San Francisco where, although just a freshman, her ceramics pieces earned the right to be displayed along with the work of junior and senior class students. She also was very fascinated with fashion and decided to take fashion classes at the Academy of Art University as well.  This is when she was inspired to start doing hand painted clothing for musicians.

Over the years, Haley’s style of painting evolved to where it is today...Pop art mixed with some occasional abstract and surreal elements. She has created two different brands, Haley's Art, and Dreamworld Apparel. Haley's Art is her original art, and art prints.
