JOSIANE DEBATISSE 

Josiane Debatisse is born in Rocourt (Belgium) in 1955.
Wanting to distinguish herself from her renowned  aquarellists, she therefore launched herself in graphic techniques on paper.
Her artistic compositions became abstract by incorporating musical scores, crinkled, torn, and colored papers, as well as precious wood and photographs.

Since few years she works mixed techniques on canvas. This enables her to create artworks in larger dimensions and to incorporate wire, keys, wire mesh, wood, textile fabrics, photographs and always old musical scores. She currently works with mixed media painted on black plexiglas.
Her willingness to express her feelings through her art, enables her to highlight her passions as music, volcanoes,oceans, forces of nature and big cities.

Her determination enabled her to expose in more than one hundred places in Belgium, France, Italy, Bulgaria, Sweden, Canada   China  and in the United-States
